It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Mike Cooper, IAFF 7th District Local 1760, Shoreline, Washington. Brother Cooper, 74, passed away on Aug. 20, 2026, from occupational cancer. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sep. 26, at 2 p.m. at Olympia First Baptist Church, 904 Washington Street SE, Olympia, Washington 98501.
